4:30pm - 7:30pm after party at B.O.A 170 Ave. A, 7:30 - 11pm "Great Expectations" is a collaborative group exhibition featuring Jessica Park, Susan Brown and Stephen Kramer on loan from Pure Vision Arts in Chelsea and new work by the students of the Cooke Center Academy High School in SoHo. Hosted by P.S.122 Gallery, “Great Expectations” is an opportunity to ponder and explore the endless possibilities from which we build our futures. This exhibition is the final project of a six month continuing project grant by Republic Worldwide to benefit the Cooke Center Academy High School in SoHo. The Cooke Center Academy High School is a branch of the Cooke Center for Learning and Development which is an educational institution working specifically with children who are challenged by developmental disorders such as down syndrome and the various extremes of the autism spectrum. Pure Vision Arts(PVA) is Manhattan's first specialized art studio for adult artists with developmental disabilities. Republic Worldwide is proud to bring these two important institutions together for the first time.
