REPUBLIC Brooklyn and Brooklyn Art Collective is re-presenting The Body Politic TODAY, June 17! We were lucky enough to keep JUNGLE for the week so we thought, "Why not have a mid-week rock-electronica-hip-hop-ART-party?" In keeping the same spirit as the opening, there will be three awesome bands: Deaf Judges, Pegasuses-XL, and Scorpio Rising. Deaf Judges is bringing the hip-hop flavor, while Pegasuses-XL is going to get the gallery dancing with electronica-experimental; and Scorpio Rising mixes rock and disco house together for your entertainment.
If you didn't make it to The Body Politic on June 13, this is a great chance to see the exhibit and get your groove on mid-week. If you did make it to the opening there's no reason to not come through again because the energy is still to the rafters.
It's $10 to enter at 8 until midnight. Take the L to Montrose and walk around the corner to 286 Meserole Street--look for the green door.
